Annual Maintenance Plan

What’s Included?

Each annual maintenance visit includes:

  • Visual and functional inspection of the installation
  • Minor adjustments where required and possible
  • Inspection of seals, fittings and moving components
  • Professional cleaning of accessible glass and framing elements
  • Maintenance report with recommendations where applicable

Where replacement components are identified:

  • Replacement components (excluding glass) supplied with a 10% discount
  • Installation of replacement components during the maintenance visit where practical
  • Labour for fitting replacement components during the scheduled visit

(included at no additional charge where practical and where materials are available at the time of attendance)

Additional 12 Month Guarantee

Providing the installation continues to be serviced annually by Precision Glass Ltd, and any recommended replacement components are supplied and installed by us within 30 days of the maintenance visit, we will guarantee the operation of the installation further 12 months from the date of each completed maintenance visit.


Annual Maintenance Plan Agreement (Outline)

1. Purpose of the Agreement

This Maintenance Plan is offered to customers who have had a Precision Glass Ltd product professionally installed by us. It is designed to:

  • Maintain functionality and performance
  • Ensure ongoing safety and compliance
  • Support the long-term operation and finish of the installation
  • Provide an additional 12 month guarantee of operation, subject to the conditions of the Maintenance Plan

2. Scope of Maintenance

The Annual Maintenance Visit will include:

  • A full visual and functional inspection of the installed product
  • Minor adjustments (e.g. tightening fittings, realignment where possible)
  • Inspection of external sealants and replacement where deemed necessary, subject to material availability and customer approval of replacement material costs
  • Professional cleaning of accessible glass and framing components
  • A maintenance report highlighting any signs of wear and tear or components recommended for replacement
  • Automatic door operators, access control systems, and other automated elements are excluded from this Maintenance Plan and may require a separate maintenance agreement

3. Replacement Components

  • Replacement components (excluding glass) identified during servicing will be offered at a 10% discount
  • If approved by the client, replacement components will be supplied and installed by Precision Glass Ltd. Labour for fitting replacement components during the scheduled visit may be included at no additional charge where practical and where materials are available at the time of attendance
  • Glass replacement is not included in the maintenance plan and will be quoted separately

4. Additional 12 Month Guarantee

Providing the installation continues to be maintained annually by Precision Glass Ltd, and any recommended replacement components are supplied and installed by us within 30 days of the maintenance visit, we will guarantee the operation of the installation for a further 12 months from the date of each completed maintenance visit.

The guarantee applies to the operation of the installation only and excludes:

  • Glass breakage or replacement
  • Misuse, accidental damage, neglect, or third-party interference
  • Structural movement or defects in surrounding structures or finishes
  • Automated systems or components

5. Eligibility

The Annual Maintenance Plan is available for:

  • New installations completed by Precision Glass Ltd, or
  • Existing Precision Glass Ltd installations where the Maintenance Plan commences within 12 months of practical completion or installation date Alternative Maintenance Plans are available for existing installations outside of this period and installations completed by others, subject to assessment of the installation condition and serviceability.

6. Exclusions and Limitations

This Maintenance Plan and any associated warranty do not cover:

  • Repairs to the surrounding structure, finishes, or substrates
  • Defects arising from movement, instability, or failure of surrounding structure or materials
  • Damage caused by misuse, neglect, or third-party interference
  • Glass breakages or replacements (unless specifically covered under a separate agreement)
  • Servicing, maintenance, repair, adjustment, or certification of automatic systems or automated elementsg safe access on the agreed appointment date
  • Missed or inaccessible appointments may be subject to a call-out fee
  • Precision Glass Ltd may issue automatic reminders relating to booking, renewal, and payment using the contact details provided by the customer

7. Maintenance Plan Cost and Term

  • The Maintenance Plan is renewable annually
  • Renewal pricing is intended to remain broadly consistent year to year, however Precision Glass Ltd reserves the right to adjust pricing to reflect increases in operational costs
  • Payment is due prior to or on the date of the scheduled Maintenance visit
  • Precision Glass Ltd reserves the right to amend or update the Maintenance Plan terms and conditions at its discretion
  • Where applicable, any out-of-area charge will be included within the quoted Maintenance Plan price

8. Booking and Access

  • Booking requests must be submitted through the Precision Glass Ltd booking portal
  • Requested dates are treated as preferred dates only and are subject to availability
  • Precision Glass Ltd will agree a Maintenance appointment date within 28 days of the customer’s requested date
  • Customers are responsible for arranging safe access on the agreed appointment date
  • Missed or inaccessible appointments may be subject to a call-out fee
  • Precision Glass Ltd may issue automatic reminders relating to booking, renewal, and payment using the contact details provided by the customer

9. Transfer of Agreement

  • The Maintenance Plan may be transferred to a new owner or responsible party upon request, subject to continued uninterrupted payment and acceptance by Precision Glass Ltd
  • This makes the Maintenance Plan suitable for contractors, developers, and other non-end users handing over completed projects

10. Acceptance and Agreement

By signing up to this Maintenance Plan, the customer agrees to the terms set out above, the Annual Maintenance Plan: Terms & Conditions, and acknowledges that the original

Precision Glass Ltd Terms and Conditions apply in full.


Annual Maintenance Plan: Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions apply to customers who enrol in the Precision Glass Ltd Annual Maintenance Plan and are in addition to our standard Terms & Conditions available at: https://tc.precisionglassltd.co.uk

1. Eligibility

1.1 The Maintenance Plan is available for:

  • New installations completed by Precision Glass Ltd, or
  • Existing Precision Glass Ltd installations where the Maintenance Plan commences within 12 months of practical completion or installation date.

1.2 Alternative Maintenance Plans are available for existing installations outside of this period and installations completed by others, subject to assessment of the installation condition and serviceability.

2. Annual Maintenance Visit

2.1 The Maintenance Plan includes one annual maintenance visit each year, including:

  • Visual and functional inspection of the installation
  • Minor adjustments where required and possible
  • Cleaning of accessible glass and framing components
  • Inspection of seals, fittings and accessible components
  • A written maintenance report outlining wear, concerns, and recommended replacement components where applicable

2.2 Automatic systems and automated components, including automatic door operators, sensors, access control systems and associated automation equipment are excluded from this Maintenance Plan.

2.3 Separate maintenance agreements may be available for automatic systems where applicable.

3. Replacement Components

3.1 Replacement components (excluding glass) identified during a maintenance visit will be offered with a 10% discount.

3.2 Replacement components remain chargeable and subject to prior customer approval.

3.3 Labour for fitting replacement components during the scheduled maintenance visit may be included at no additional charge where practical and where materials are available at the time of attendance.

3.4 Glass replacement is excluded from the Maintenance Plan and will be quoted separately.

4. Additional 12 Month Guarantee

4.1 Providing the installation continues to be maintained annually by Precision Glass Ltd, and any recommended replacement components are supplied and installed by us within 30 days of the maintenance visit, we will guarantee the operation of the installation for a further 12 months from the date of each completed maintenance visit.

4.2 This guarantee applies to the operation of the installation only and excludes:

  • Glass breakage or replacement
  • Misuse, accidental damage, neglect, or third-party interference
  • Structural movement or defects in surrounding structures or finishes
  • Automated systems or automated components

4.3 Failure to maintain annual maintenance visits or proceed with recommended replacement components within 30 days may invalidate the continued operational guarantee.

5. Booking, Scheduling & Customer Responsibilities

5.1 Booking requests must be submitted through the Precision Glass Ltd booking portal.

5.2 Requested dates are treated as preferred dates only. Precision Glass Ltd will use reasonable efforts to accommodate requested dates but reserves the right to agree an alternative appointment date within 28 days of the requested date.

5.3 Automatic reminders may be issued relating to booking, renewal, and payment using the contact details provided.

5.4 Customers must ensure safe and timely access to the installation at the agreed appointment time. Failure to do so may result in a missed appointment charge.

5.5 Customers should notify Precision Glass Ltd of any concerns or defects they become aware of outside of the maintenance visit.

5.6 It is the customer’s responsibility to retain copies of maintenance reports as evidence of maintenance history.

6. Renewals, Pricing & Transfer

6.1 The Maintenance Plan is renewable annually.

6.2 Renewal pricing is intended to remain broadly consistent year to year, however Precision Glass Ltd reserves the right to adjust pricing to reflect increases in operational costs.

6.3 Where an installation falls outside of Precision Glass Ltd’s standard service area, any applicable out-of-area charge will be included within the quoted Maintenance Plan price.

6.4 The Maintenance Plan may be transferred to a new owner or responsible party upon request, subject to continued uninterrupted payment and acceptance by Precision Glass Ltd.

6.5 Precision Glass Ltd reserves the right to amend, update, or modify these Terms & Conditions at its discretion at any time. The latest version will apply upon renewal of the Maintenance Plan.

6.6 Continued participation requires timely renewal and payment.

6.7 Either party may terminate the Maintenance Plan at any time with written notice. No refunds will be provided for unused portions of a paid maintenance year once a maintenance visit has been completed.

7. Exclusions & Limitations

The Maintenance Plan does not cover:

  • Repairs to surrounding structures, finishes, or substrates
  • Defects arising from movement, instability, or failure of surrounding structure or materials
  • Damage caused by misuse, neglect, or third-party interference
  • Glass breakage or replacement
  • Servicing, maintenance, repair, adjustment, or certification of automatic systems or automated components
  • Repairs to or making good of surrounding structures, finishes, or materials
  • Access to installations not safely reachable from the ground or via our standard access equipment.

8. Liability

8.1 Precision Glass Ltd will not be liable for consequential loss, indirect damages, or delays arising from defects, recommended repairs, or missed appointments.
